What reactions have you received from the NU?DE call? I have been on several years and have not had a negative response to my call, a few figure the connection but most don't. I don't flont that I am a nudist but once in a while someone ask if there is a connection which I respond there is. I operate both VHF and low bands and use a repeater near the nudist club where we have a camper So what has your reactions been? NU9DE

Naturist New Hampshire http://www.natnh.com is holding our summer festival (campout) on July 8 thru July 10 in Cannan, NH. Details on the event can be found here: http://www.natnh.com/nu/ressacredplace.html. At this event we will be setting up a ham station to help celebrate National Nude Week. We will use the callsign NU1DE, and intend to operate primarily on or near 14.265 MHz, but may operate on other frequencies or bands as conditions allow. I intend to get the station operating by late Friday afternoon, and will be on the air intermittently thru Saturday evening.

I plan on being operational during Nude Recreation Week, July 4th to 10th. I will be on both 20 and 40 meters, somewhere around 14.265 and 7.265. Most operation will be in the afternoon. I will be operating from Sunshower Country Club, Centerville, IN.

Pacific Area Naturist Amateur radio Society will be operating Special Event Station NU6DE at the Western Naturist Gathering Aug 11 - Aug 14, 2011. Frequencies will be 28.465, 21.365, 14.265, and 7.265 MHz. Times will be dependent on other activities at the Gathering, and frequencies will depend on time of day. It's more likely we'd be found on 40m or 20m rather than 15m or 10m - but what the heck, go ahead and see if we do indeed wind up on the upper bands if conditions permit. Jim WB6ZPB

Hello, I am a newbie member here having found it through the TNS SIG page in "N". I am a long time ham and an planning to upgrade from Advanced to Extra class soon. My Advanced license expires in November, 2011 and I think instead of renewing I will try for the upgrade. Slow going so far (I've been on this project since January) but I think I can do it. Anyway, I was thinking that a sked might be interesting.

Regretfully, due to inclement weather, the 2011 Bare-To-Breakers Special Event Station has been canceled. But wait till next year!!! :) Jim trustee for NU6DE.

North Louisiana Naturist is a travel club in Louisiana. We hold clothed meetings in Shreveport, La. And travel to nude locations. We have sent our representatives to AANR-SW Conventions, and the 2009 AANR National Convention. Our goal is to increase the popularity of non-sexual nude recreation in North Louisiana. We wish to make nude recreation more accessible to nudist in the area. Our field day operations usually operate under the callsign N5YEE. For the AANR-SW 2011 CONVENTION some of our members plan to travel in a limousine provided by Haley Transport.

NU6DE will operate a demonstration station on Saturday, Oct 2, at 1PM PDT (2000 UTC), on 7265 KHz +/-. If you can't join us at the Western Naturist Gathering, then at least try to contact us on the air! 73, Jim WB6ZPB trustee for NU6DE.
